Hmmm, this is getting a bit of a habit - posting up pics of my latest addition to the Tale of Four Gamers challenge on the last day of the month. This won't be an option next month as there's little chance of me being sober enough to hold a camera straight let alone a paint brush! A little more organisation is called for methinks...
Anyhow, here's November's offering - a L5 Dark Elf Sorceress mounted on a Cold One (100 points) and six Witch Elves with light armour, additional hand weapons and poisoned attacks (84 points). That along with the unit of 11 warriors led by a L5 hero (with light armour, shields, hand weapons and standard) and the Jaded Sisters (2 L5 heroines with light armour, double handed weapons and poisoned attacks) gives me a total of 480 points - 30 points ahead of the game!
First up is Kassandras Elvira, Mistress of the Dark . Normally more at home in the cavernous hold of the Black Ark, Horror of the Deep, Elvira is an aspiring Sorceress and Demonologist.
If ever such a cruel mistress could be said to feel empathy or even affection for another living being, then Elvira might be said to feel that for her monstrous charges - the Helldrakes and other sea monsters the Dark Elves harness for their ships of war.
And yet Elvira relishes the opportunity to accompany raiding parties inland where she can practice her fell arts on whichever unfotunates stand in her way.
The Witch Elves of the House of Khaine are a notorious coven, renowned not only for their cruelty but also for their agility.
Particularly feared are the great leaps and jumps they propel themselves in to the fray with, once they have worked themselves into a truly mad blood frenzy.
Their standard is testament to their bloodlust and the depths of their depravity...
Nice work! Dig the gothy eye make up. And I appreciate the hat tip to my favorite late night bad horror movie hostess.
ReplyDeleteHehe - cheers bud. With that hair I had too! There's also a sneaky Godzilla Baddie reference too in there too ;)
DeleteJust about to echo Mr. Mouse on the goth eye make up... reminds of girlfriends from the 80's. Cracking paint job and choice of colours. Well done.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Hopefully that goth eye make up didn't also come with the frenzy and poisoned attacks!
DeleteYes, it did, unfortunately. In my case, anyway.
DeleteI guess that's one of the risks you take! ;)
DeleteVery nice indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kym!
DeleteVery cool sir. That standard is wonderfully horrible!
ReplyDeleteCheers Michael - that was exactly what I was going for!
DeleteI love their make up and the colour of their blades.
ReplyDeleteCheers bud - Jade is a bit of a theme throughout the army and I thought it'd be a good colour to suggest their poisoned attacks too.
