Ready 4A 'nother Kickstarter?

I certainly am having just gone for the Full Monty in 4A Miniature's second Kickstarter!

Saelian - Goblin Champion featured in the Kickstarter

There is nothing half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats

With BOYL 2014 only just finished some keen Oldhammerers have turned their attention on next year's shenanigans.

I'm rather keen on Chico's Outcast Greenskin Project even if it does sound like the name of some pretentious Prog Rock band! It'll give me a good reason to paint up my Hobgoblin and Half Orc army which would put me dangerously close to getting most of my Goblinoid collection finished!

Testudo Tank - Take Two!

Yup - I've been busy with the new camera!

Definitely struggled taking good pics of the Bog Gob's Tortoise tank first time round with the old camera so here goes again...

Bog Gobs - Armoured Division

Howdy folks - got another LPL entry for you.

I present the Testudo Tank, crewed by the finest Shell Shock Troops of the tribe!

Heroes in a Half Shell

Right another WIP here - having finished my Blood Bowl team (still got the pitch to do) I thought I'd wrap up a few more loose ends before plunging into preparations for the Oldhammer Weekend in the summer.

I got into a great discussion on the LAF about using Eureka's Turtle Tank with Four A's fantastic Goblins. Huge thanks to fellow LAF'er Scurv for sorting me out with said Turtle, minus the Turtle warrior crew and at a very reasonable price too.

On a more personal note I also need to thank Scurv for very kindly taking my brother and his mate, who are taking a year out travelling round Australia at the moment, under his wing, providing accomodation and other assistance and some excellent nights out I gather! If you're reading this and ever find yourself in the UK as far North as York I'd be happy to repay the favour.

Anyhow - here's a few shots of the Turtle Tank and its new owners -

A Goblin, a Goblin - My Kingdom Four A Goblin...

Sorry couldn't resist massacring a bit of the Bard for this post! And if you didn't get the finely wrought pun then let me enlighten you...

Bog Gobs Ahoy!

Ah, another job done! Had some of these boys on the painting table for far too long. Sculpted by Kev Adams for the excellent Four A Miniatures, these chaps are great fun to paint up. If you're reading Andy - we just need those mounted Goblins now!

Fish Out of Water

Hello all - another week and another LPL entry. This time I've gone for a little change to the usual 80's vintage citadel, in the form of Four A Miniature's excellent Sea Demons, sculpted by Paul Muller.

These are great minis and a superb addition to the range Andy stocks at Four A - I have the brilliant Piranha boy and another demon who didn't quite make it into my entry because of time. Some time I must also get round to finally painting up the other five Kev Adams goblins I bought ages ago!

Not sure how I'm going to use these little gribblies in game terms yet - just really liked the look of them. Probably means I'm going to have to expand the little scenic set I made for my competition pic into a table top set-up...
