The Trolltooth Wars: Clawbeast WIP

Well it's Friday night and the best (and probably the only constuctive) thing to do in these Western reaches of Mordor is to have a drink or two. Or seven. Even if there is a huge pile of miniatures that need to be painted by August 2nd...

So I figured if I can't raise a paint brush for raising too many drinks, I might as well share some more WIPs and ramblings with you good folk and keep my blog posting on a roll.

And what better way to do it than with this little beastie!

Now I might have mentioned in my last post how I loved the Fighting Fantasy world and how it felt a lot more diverse and richer than the Old World of Warhammer - and if I was being really unkind, I might take that back when confronted with one of the goofier monsters that one might encounter when exploring the wilds of Allansia - the Clawbeast!

The Trolltooth Wars: Rhinomen

Greetings readers and apologies once more for another bout of radio silence - insert usual excuses here... Well with just over a month and a half to go till BOYL 2019 things have been rather busy here with the usual hurried preparations that should have been done ages ago - so I figured some procrastination in the form of writing this blog post was in order!

As usual I have filled my BOYL schedule with as many games as I could cram in to the weekend but the one I am looking forward to the most (and having the most fun preparing for) is the grand finale of Warlord Paul's and my Trolltooth Wars campaign.

Night of the Living Lead 2018

Sit down and mark ye well. Here follows a brief description of the ridiculous fashions of these distracted times . A tale of a world turned upside down. A tale of King-makers and Bastards, of trials and treason. Brother against brother, families divided and the land of Little Albion all in a kerfuffle.

Unleash the Poodles of War!

BOYL 2018 - The Shrine of Rigg

So here it is! It's been a long time coming but finally the Shrine of Rigg exists! And has paint on it! And we played a game with it!

BOYL 2018 - The Trolltooth Wars: Raid on Coven

Wow - another year and another BOYL and they still keep getting better! It is genuinely an event that gives me a lump in my throat as I drive home wishing it wasn't all over for another 365 days.

This year was busy as ever and as you can see from the group photos Orlygg kindly posted up on Facebook, possibly the busiest yet!

Back Once Again!

Hello faithful readers - if there's anyone left? Quite understandable if you've left me for dead since my last post was back in October and I was somewhat sporadic before then...

Orktober: Givin' my Wagon a Fixin'

So the last of the Runts have been fished out of the engine cowling, the Grots have used up the last of the paint squigs and famed Mekaniak, Nazzkar Kabrettah has hung up his oily rags.

I'm finally done with painting this behemoth of a Battle Wagon!
